It’s all about the light

A common theme in both my paintings and photographs is capturing the light. Although the wheelchair often prevents me from getting into nature, the light touches both me and the landscape together, connecting me within it. A landscape changes significantly depending on the time and seasons and helps resonate for me how these fleeting moments mirror aspects of our own existence.
